To ensure efficient communication and streamline our appointment scheduling process, we are implementing a system to manage patient documents and appointments. We require all patients to have an email address that they can access regularly.
How the process will work:
1. Set Up Your Patient Portal Account:
After your initial appointment is made or confirmed, you will receive an welcome email with instructions on how to set up your patient portal account. This portal will contain important documents that need to be completed prior to your scheduled appointment.
2. Completing Documents:
All necessary paperwork must be completed and submitted through the patient portal at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Failure to complete these documents on time may result in the cancellation of your appointment.
3. Rescheduling Appointments:
If your appointment is canceled due to incomplete paperwork, you will have the opportunity to complete the documents in the patient portal. Once completed, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.

Melton Telepsychiatry Services No-Show Policy
Policy Statement:
Melton Telepsychiatry Services is committed to providing high-quality mental health care. To ensure that our resources are utilized effectively and to accommodate all clients, we have implemented a no-show policy regarding missed appointments.
Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointments without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client in need of services.
No-Show Fee:
If a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing at least 24 hours' notice, a fee of $35 will be assessed. This fee is intended to cover administrative costs and help maintain the availability of our services.
Payment of Fees:
No-show fees will be billed to the client’s account and must be paid before scheduling any future appointments. Continued failure to adhere to the cancellation policy may result in limitations on scheduling future appointments.
Exceptions:
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. If a client believes they have a valid reason for missing an appointment, they may contact our office to discuss the situation. Each case will be assessed individually.
